Sunup is a member of The Masonry Society, Masonry Alliance for Codes and Standards, Shear and Axial subcommittees of The Masonry Standards Joint Committee (MSJC) and C 12 and C 15 committees of ASTM. He has co-authored structural engineering papers in ACI, PCI and TMS publications. Sunup holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kerala University in India.
