    Job Description:

    Looking for a detail oriented Structural Engineer to prepare structural calculations and details of structural elements for commercial, industrial and residential projects. Construction administration responsibilities include responding to, RFI’s, plan check comments and reviewing construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents. Ideal candidate can work with minimal supervision, perform special inspections and other field work as required.

    Experience with storefront and curtain wall systems, and/or solar support structures is a plus.

    Successful candidate will also have opportunity to perform Forensic Engineering such as insurance claims investigations involving structural failures, design of foundation repairs, and concrete restoration projects.

    Job Requirements

    · Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC (seismic provisions), ACI & NDS

    · Ability to coordinate with other disciplines such as architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing

    · Analyze structures using various structural engineering software programs (i.e. RISA 3D, Enercalc, RAM & MathCad)

    · Ability to work in fast paced environment

    · Excellent communication skills

    · 4-15 years experience

    · BSCE Minimum with PE registration required
