    We’re excited to announce that Early Registration is now open for the 2023 convention! These Early Registration rates will expire May 1st. We will be returning to the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Doubletree on June 15th through 17th. The Speaker Committee has secured world renowned Dr. S.K. Gosh to be our keynote presenter and is working on a great lineup of other speakers covering a range of topics. This convention will follow our familiar format with multiple presentation tracks, promising to keep everyone interested with a total of 12 PDH credits offers. A full lineup of presentations will be announced and posted to our website when it has been finalized. 

    Early Registration Rates: $345 for Members, $465 for Non-Members

    After May 1: $395 for Members and $530 for Non-Members

    Call for Entries

    The SEAoA is once again looking for the best and the brightest projects from our members so that we may showcase them at our Annual Convention. 

    There is no fee to enter and projects are not limited to those in Arizona, so be proud and show us what you got!

    Truly outstanding projects may also get forwarded on to compete for the National Excellence awards with entries from other SEA organizations across the country.

    The Younger Member Group is looking for nominations for the next YMG Chair, Treasurer, ASU Rep/Student Liaison and the Social/Networking positions. A YMG promotes an energetic environment that encourages professional advancement and information exchange within the structural industry. YMG assists Young Engineers as they build their careers in the Structural Engineering Profession, offering training, networking, and community outreach opportunities to its members. The YMG Past-Chair, John Heck, will be available to mentor the new YMG leadership team as they build the Younger Member Group community. Each position is a one-year term, limited to those 35 years old and younger, and responsibilities include:

    YMG Chair -

    • Lead quarterly YMG meetings
    • Coordinate and attend main chapter meetings
    • Recruit and retain members
    • Help plan construction site visits or vendor demonstrations
    • Assist all other positions

    • Treasurer -

    • Manage YMG budget and keep track of attendance
    • Keep up to date contact information
    • Recruit and retain members
    • ASU Rep/Student Liaison -
    • Reach out to ASU student groups to encourage participation in the YMG
    • Recruit and retain members

    • Social/Networking -

    • Plan and coordinate quarterly social events. 
    • Coordinate combined social with AIA
    • Setup other events besides HH
    • Help out with Engineering Days at the AZ Science Center  
    • Recruit and retain members
