Responsibilities
• Prepare structural design calculations and technical reports for building projects (residential, commercial, and forensic).
• Develop structural drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications.
• Conduct field investigations, on-site observations of existing structures, and construction inspections.
Qualifications
• Education/Certification: 4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certificate.
• Experience: 1 to 4 years of related work experience in structural building design.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in key industry applications, including MathCAD, Excel, RISA-3D, Enercalc, and AutoCAD.
• Travel: Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for local travel to project sites/client offices for observations and inspections.
• Traits: Highly self-disciplined, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote layout.
